On Wednesday, October 5th at 5:30 PM via Zoom our General Body Meeting will be led by our newest leaders and dedicated to hearing from you as to what our priorities and next steps should be. This is an important meeting to set our course for the rest of the year. (See agenda here: Link)

In the past two years we have led many successful actions for health and safety during COVID-19, pushed our union to take action, and saw our endorsed candidates get elected to the WTU Executive Board. But there are many challenges ahead from organizing for union power in our buildings to deciding how we balance our social justice priorities with holding our own union accountable. We need your voice to plot the course for how we fight for the schools communities DC deserves.
