DC-CORE Week of Action Jan 17-24 #ItsNotSafe

DCPS educators from across the District are called on to plan and take action at their schools for a Week of Action to demand:

1) Paid COVID Leave

• All workers should have paid COVID leave to take care of themselves and loved ones who are affected by COVID

2) More COVID Protections

• Quality KN-95s for all staff and students

• Increased asymptomatic COVID testing

• Public metrics and a plan for return to virtual instruction

3) Support our Substitutes

• Substitute teachers haven't gotten a raise since 2008 and are taking action each Monday in front of the Wilson building.
